If you want to delete your Aluna account and the data attached to it, there are two ways: you can reset it yourself from inside the app, or you can write to us and request full deletion. You do not need to have the app installed; an email is enough.
In the app, open the Profile tab, scroll down and use the Reset option. This erases the birth details, settings and cached readings on your device.
The reset runs on the device. If you signed in with Google, your account record on the server remains; to delete that as well, use the request route below.
Write to the address below from the email address you signed in with. Putting Account deletion request in the subject line is enough. For identity verification the email needs to come from the same address as your account; we do not ask for anything else.
Once we receive your request we delete your data within 30 days at the latest and confirm it to you in writing. It usually takes much less.
Credits cannot be brought back. Deleting your account means your unused star credits are cancelled; they are not refunded and cannot be transferred to another account. You may want to use your credits before deleting.
Purchase records are held by Google Play and are not ours to delete. Transaction records that we are required to keep for accounting and legal obligations are also retained for the relevant legal period even after your account has been deleted. These records contain neither your birth details nor the content of your readings.
If you have a subscription, deleting your account does not cancel it. You need to cancel the subscription separately from your Google Play account: Play Store, profile, Payments and subscriptions, Subscriptions.
